About the Role
We’re looking for a creative powerhouse who doesn’t just follow trends—they set them. This isn’t your typical 9-to-5 posting job. We need someone who can transform Instagram and TikTok accounts into scroll-stopping, culturally resonant destinations that drive real results for our multicultural beauty and wellness clients.
What You’ll Own
This is a turnkey social media management role where you’ll have full creative control over Instagram and TikTok presence for multiple clients. You’ll be the architect of social strategies, the creator behind compelling content, and the trendsetter who keeps our clients ahead of the curve while staying true to their cultural authenticity.
Your Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for Instagram and TikTok that authentically represent each client’s brand values and cultural identity
- Create original, thumb-stopping content including videos, reels, stories, and static posts for beauty and wellness brands
- Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish content that drives engagement, growth, and brand loyalty across multiple client accounts
- Weave cultural storytelling into every piece of content while making it accessible and engaging
Trend Intelligence & Cultural Leadership
- Monitor emerging trends, sounds, challenges, and formats across Instagram and TikTok
- Identify opportunities to participate in or create viral moments that align with client brand identities
- Bridge mainstream trends with cultural authenticity—know when to jump on a trend and when to create our own
- Position our clients as cultural tastemakers and trendsetters in the beauty and wellness space
Multi-Brand Management
- Juggle multiple client accounts while maintaining each brand’s unique voice and identity
- Develop tailored strategies that reflect each brand’s specific goals, audience, and cultural perspective
- Stay organized and meet deadlines across various client timelines and content calendars
Analytics & Optimization
- Track performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights
- A/B test content approaches to optimize reach and engagement
- Report on growth, engagement rates, and content performance for client review
- Continuously refine strategies based on what’s working
Agency Collaboration
- Work alongside our diverse team of creatives and strategists
- Translate brand strategies into compelling social content
- Contribute fresh ideas to client brainstorms and strategy sessions
What We’re NOT Looking For
This role does not include community management—you won’t be responding to comments or DMs. We have separate processes for that. You’re here to create, strategize, and elevate content for our clients.

- You’re proficient in video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
- You know your way around design tools (Canva, Photoshop, or similar)
- You understand the technical requirements for optimal content performance
- You can create professional, polished content with or without a big production budget
The Strategic Thinker
- You balance creativity with data-driven decision making
- You understand how social content fits into broader brand and marketing objectives
- You think long-term while executing day-to-day
- You can pivot strategies based on performance and client needs
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven experience managing Instagram and TikTok accounts with measurable growth
- Portfolio showcasing original content you’ve created and published (preferably in beauty/wellness)
- Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, features, and best practices
- Strong video production and editing skills
- Demonstrated passion for culture, beauty, wellness, and storytelling
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines across multiple client accounts
- Excellent storytelling abilities and brand voice development
- Analytics-minded with experience using platform insights and third-party tools
- Experience working in an agency environment or managing multiple brands simultaneously (preferred)
Bonus Points
- Experience with multicultural and mission-driven brands
- Background in the beauty, wellness, or lifestyle space
- Experience growing accounts from scratch or turning around underperforming profiles
- You’ve created content that went viral (and can explain why it worked)
- Background in photography, videography, or content production
- Understanding of paid social advertising
- Experience working with influencers or creators
- Passion for supporting women-led and Black-owned businesses
