Teva: From a Black Traveler’s Perspective

BRIEF & STRATEGY

Bleum activated a curated group of lifestyle micro-influencers to take a trip to experience the culture and beauty of Costa Rica all while wearing Teva’s latest Summer shoe collection. Traveling as women of color, the trip’s purpose was to take time to soak in the wonders of the island, realign and refocus, as well as immerse in multi-cultural beauty and reinforce community while abroad. 

Putting this fashionable footwear to the test, they marched them all over the country’s tropical terrain and documented their personal experiences. Their photos provided an intrinsic up-close look at the island, encapsulating the vibrant culture from a black traveler’s perspective while emphasizing their Teva shoes and sharing through a unique hashtag #TevaInCostaRica.
